En Memorandum - Peter Michael DuFore Art Director at Dance Etc. School of the Arts from 1985-2010. Peter DuFore's amazing talent, generosity, and contagious passion for the arts lives on in our 4 walls today. His daughter, Danielle DuFore, had a successful dance career and continues to spread her father's passions with the students at Dance Etc. His grandson, and recent graduate, Santos was a student with us for years and continues his family's artistic legacy as both a dancer and visual artist at the collegiate level. You will find Peter DuFore's artwork on our walls and in our scenery sets that have endured the test of time.
Our art classes cover the basics of visual art to help students understand vocabulary; the various mediums and their uses; and the use of shapes, shadows, positioning, and abstract forms. Our classes are perfect for those just starting in visual art or simply learning as a relaxing past time. They are also a wonderful addition for those pursuing careers in art and building art portfolios.
All art students are asked to provide their own supplies using this checklist. Please bring a sample of their work to the first class so it can be evaluated to give the instructor a starting point. Art classes begin September 7th, 2021 and end May 31st, 2022.
Art classes are open level and divided by ages. Find the right class for your students age on our schedule!
Here at Dance Etc. we value all of the arts and do our best to incorporate each one of them. We are proud to have a drama department that helps artists embrace the stage in fun and engaging ways!

Piano students participate in weekly private lessons of 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Students get to perform in our end of year in-house piano recital, while some of our more advanced students also perform in our Winter Concert.
